The Dark Gems are wielded by agents of evil to wreak havoc on the mortal world.
Types of Gems[]
- Dark Sphere: the spheres are used to open Aberrant Portals to almost any world, and can be anchored nearly anywhere. Detecting magic can show an invisible line of ether linking the sphere to the portal. If the sphere is destroyed, so is the portal.
- Dark Prism: this gem is similar to the others except that it is placed at a nexus of power (such as on the Pilgrim's Path) and it corrupts the energy around it, bringing forth monsters and other vile effects. Only the Chosen One has been able to destroy these resilient gems, at the cost of draining his life-force.
